English language Challenges
I have to say that I finished a British English course
five six years ago. It is true that, when people don't practice a language
normally, it’s possible that they forget it.
And in my case, I forgot some things that I've
learned in my last course.
This experience learning English at university
helped me to remember some topics and gave me the possibility to improve my
vocabulary.
In the same way I think that the use of blogs is a
very good educational tool that didn't exist in my last course of English. It's
a very good option to motivate people and improve their writing way. We can
develop our thinking skills and creativity.
I really need to improve my pronunciation and
vocabulary and I'm thinking in take another course, I hope to do this in Europe
or Sydney, I don't know if I will have the possibility to do it the next year
for three months (it's because is a very expensive plan)!
These days I'm using the English language frequently. Especially
when I have to read in English a lot of publications, papers and books to do my
thesis project, it's very important for me.
Also in my free time I try to use it watching TV, for
example on Netflix. I try to watch series in English and if I need, just if I
need, I use subtitles but in English too.
In brief, nowadays it’s very important that people
learn one or two languages more apart from their maternal language. It's not
because a travel, it's because most of jobs needs that people speak different
languages, and also we can find a very good job abroad.
